Ken Can Cook, really...!!

I came thru Kenny and Ab's pad with the labby to design a new shirt with Kenny for his CD under the Project Blowed label titled ''Ken Can Cook''... The album is now available and has features from underground hip hop stars such as Aceyalone, 2mex, Nocando, Abstract Rude & others... We sat down in the studio to finalize the placement and colorways of the shirt and I also snapped some shots of the art from 'Mear One' that blessed their walls while I was there. Be on the lookout for the official collab to drop later this holiday...!

A while back I cruised by Awol One's house to get the deck right off the production press. He went through all the artist for me and let me know about some stuff in the works for the second season. Cool visit w/ good vibes. Much love to Awol for showing love and hooking the decks up.

Fall 08' is here

For the Fall 08' collection, I'm taking it back to the roots, back to how it all started for me. Before I started branding my tee shirts under the onelove name, I composed most of my pieces with a one color screen-print press, fabrics, graphics, multi-color threads, one sewing machine and AAA's from my local 98 cent store. Combining all these elements came out really detailed hand made pieces. They were a real sucess, I did small runs of 9 and all the pieces were gone within a few days. Those pieces are from late 2005, which now the rare first shirts I ever made.

The best part of it all is that those tees are what led to me launching the onelove brand in spring 2007, I now in late 2008 have shirts from my first season that I can not wear due to the wear and tear of having a regular tee. Its crazy to me that I still wear the first shirts (from 2005) due to the craftsmanship and work I put into them, they really out-lasted shirts that I printed just a year ago and that to me is what proved/convinced me that I need to comeback with giving my customer a nice, quality shirt that you will feel good about. The Fall 08 from Gallery Onelove Deluxe will definately be a shirt that you feel its money well spent. I took a few iphone pics since my charger is lost but I hope you enjoy...!

I got a call from Ab saying the rest of the boys (Atmosphere, Blueprint, Raregroove) were feeling the summer line so he hit me up to see if I could drop by with some product. True story

Once there was a man who went to the bars in Redlands,Ca, he was laced in a fresh onelove tee. He and a fresh dimepeice connected eye's and locked. She and He approached each other with a "What's your name" type of talk/vibe... The man told this beautiful gal about a clothing line he does with his friend rude boy and what/how they do to get it out there. A few words, laughs and weeks later the 2 were found crusing trough the city in a fresh topless lexus like 2 love birds flying in the air being best of friends. The dimepeice started coming down to the office and dropped her game to us on her jewelry business connect. Next thing you know Ghop rolls thru to my suprise with black & cannary diamonds laying in a pillow of silver w/ the ONELOVE tag logo on a ring that she gave him as a gift..!

Summer 08' Release BBQ

July 19th we will be having a BBQ in celebration of our Summer Line Release. The event will be held in our hometown @ a premier street-wear shop, Headstone Boutique. We will be featuring live music all day with hip-hop/dj/producer artist including Abstract Rude, Awol1, Omid, Ken can cook, Dj Mike 'E' & Dj Cornbreeze. The shop is having re-modeling done just in time for its grand opening on the day of our BBQ so check for a fresh new shop from top to bottom. Dizzy & the World Famous Aviators will be coming thru to jump off the taping of Season 2 so make sure to check them out!
