Yessir... back in the flesh is the former Active Ride Shop CEO veteran himself, dba as OKSKATE. The shop sticks close to it's roots in the city of Rancho Cucamonga and is farrr from your average new shop on the block. The site is planned to launch in May and is set to compete with the likes of CCS and Active Ride Shop along with a retail front / mini ramp for the skate community. With a hand selected team strong enough to compete nationally, these guys will single handily change the action sports retail and internet world as we know it... that is with the help of thousands of orders of course. Buckle down, sit back and get ready to forecast a potent future for the team to make their mark on the scene. The shop is set with a wide selection of brands, amongst those some of my favorites were Benny Gold, RAW, Diamond, Hundreds, UsVersusThem, HUF, and Archrival. The place is clean head to toe and has had many of hands helping it get to the perfect setting the guys are going for. The official grand opening is May 8th so make sure to come through and peep game. The Ruling Elite Sunset

I finally got a chance to hit the Con.Cept shop from the monolithic boys from Cerritos. The Crooks and Castles flagship Melrose location is all the product that is sent wholesale to account stores across the world, as compared to Sunset location, Crooks and Castles has setup an exclusive collection that is available only here at this shop. Tucked away in an higher end west Sunset setting, you can catch the general, lavish and most of team crooks doing there thing on the daily. Don't be mislead, the guys are great host so stop through the shop and get something a little better for a change.

Surf Fest 3.

This weekend Spyder Surfshop played host to Surf Fest 3 at the Hermosa Pier Plaza. Billabong, Volcom, Hurley, Quik, Lost, Matix, DVS, Reef, Insight, Roxy, Spy and Electric were just some of the brands involved with the amazing event. Live music, fashion shows, surf co. tour bus's, pro surf team signings, games and giveaway's were some of the festivities taking place.
